NHD Reflection

This year I did a documentary and i felt as though it was a good choice because i am good at computers so i have alot of expirernce. I did my whole project at home which was a good idea this year because i know last year it was very complicated working at school. I did very well as a grade a 89 i could have gotten a 90 but im pretty sure its because of my time. I had only 5 minutes and 20 seconds and next year i will probably do a NHD project cause i was dissapointed that i didnt get in the CITIES competetion but im fine with it, I will do it next year and pick a topic that im intrested in just like i did this year but i will be better

Saying this really told me about how the economy was and where the country stood. Which was very, very bad on opinion to what Franklin D Roosevelt.

Reading another portion of the article i learned further more that the stock market crash of October 1929 brought the economic prosperity of the 1920s to a symbolic end. For the next ten years, the United States was mired in a deep economic depression. By 1933, unemployment had soared to 25 percent, up from 3.2 percent in 1929. Industrial production declined by 50 percent, international trade plunged 30 percent, and investment fell 98 percent.

I learned that It strengthened the federal presence in American life, spawning such innovations as national old-age pensions, unemployment compensation, aid to dependent children, public housing, federally-subsidized school lunches, insured bank depositions, the minimum wage, and stock market regulations.

This was a sign during the Great Depression, because families were very much into stay at home moms so when the great depression happened men couldnt care for there own, or there household. So many filed for bankruptcy and many were forced to another kind of lifestyle.
