The Great Depression was a tragic thing that happen in America it left families bankrupt and unemployed, can we point the finger at the president during this time, Hoover and after the Great Depression is over who do we point the finger to on saving, the current president. Well the current president we speak of is Franklin Roosevelt. He was elected in 1939 and contributed numerous ideas such as the NEW DEAL, that help America gain back its reputation so we can definitely say that he won the populations support right? You will exspect to see the things that F.D.R proposed and followed through in his presidency and precisely judged weather or not he had much to do with the end of the Great Depression.
